John G. Rosten, OD

Primary Care Optometry, Specialty Contact Lenses, and Surgical Co-Management

​Dr. Rosten received his Bachelor of Science degree with honors from the University of California at Davis, and his Doctor of Optometry degree with honors from the University of California at Berkeley. Further graduate study allowed him to earn a Master’s Degree in vision science from the University of Manchester, England. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry and is therapeutically and glaucoma certified. He provides a full range of optometric services that include specialty contact lens fittings, pre-operative and post-operative care for cataract surgery and laser vision correction surgery, as well as comprehensive eye examinations. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, and a Past President and active member of both the California Optometric Association and the Sacramento Valley Optometric Society. 

Over the past 15 years, he has enjoyed leading eye care teams to underserved areas of the world, including the countries of Honduras, Albania, Nepal, Kenya, and Rwanda. Dr. Rosten resides in Dixon, and is married and has two children and five grandchildren.

Edward P. Andersen, OD

Dr. Andersen received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California at Davis, and his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of California at Berkeley. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry and is therapeutically and glaucoma certified. He provides a full range of optometric services that include specialty contact lens fittings, co-management care for cataract surgery and laser vision correction surgery, as well as comprehensive eye examinations. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and the California Optometric Association, and is a Past President and active member of the Sacramento Valley Optometric Society. He also serves as a board member for the Vision One Credit Union. 

Dr. Andersen practices in offices in Dixon and Winters and is a Past President and active member of the Winters Rotary Club. He resides in Winters, and is married and has four children - Jamie, Ashley, T.J. and Ryan.
